Listed below are domain price quotes over $150,000 at Domain Name Sales over the past week.
One noteworthy name again this week is TeachMe.com. I talked about it a couple weeks ago — TeachMe.com sold for $50,000 in December of 2011. At the time, I said,
- Parked, and ownership under privacy protection, but it’s listed as a future project for Bill Karamouzis’ FPS Networks.
- Teach.me is also developed, “We’re a not-for-profit with the goal of changing education for the better by providing a free world-class education for anyone anywhere.“
The interesting thing is that the domain was quoted with a price range of $150-$250k on the December 24 list, then the $250-$500k range on the December 31 list, and now it shows up with a quote over $1 million this week. Either it’s the victim of a typo when entered into the DNS system, or Mr. Karamouzis is feeling good about the value of his domain. A quick Google search shows there are a wide variety of websites and apps that use ‘teach me’ as part of their name.
On the sales front, DNS is showing NGames.com sold in the $50-$100k range on January 4. Whois shows the new owner as “NGames Limited” of Hong Kong, with an ngames.com.hk email address. NGames.com.hk forwards to Game321.com, which has an impressive Alexa rank near 6,400. NGames.com doesn’t resolve yet.

Even though Jay has no tact, he does have a point. I never new why the names were posted multiple times, I just assumed it was easier to post this way. Love the information no matter how you list it. Thanks!
