It seems there is a story behind every domain sale.
On the Afternic sales report this week, CarTransport.com sold for $85,000. Per Whois, the buyer is Andrew Wash of Valley Solutions, Inc.
“Valley Solutions, Inc. is a privately held, Christian value based, corporation with offices in West Chester, Ohio. Our focus is to provide comprehensive web content for web sites on a broad range of topics such as Moving, Auto Transport, Real Estate and Cabin Rentals.
In addition to creating high quality websites Valley Solutions, Inc. also works closely with several industries to drive customer service related changes in the auto transport, moving and cabin rental industries through business management consulting and application development.”
From a brief look, all their sites seem to be lead generation websites — many of which are based on great domains such as Towing.com, VehicleTransport.com, AutoTransporter.com, AutoCarriers.com, MoverGuide.com, MovingCompany.com and more.
I thought MovingCompany.com rang a bell, and it turns out it topped the DN Journal weekly sales charts back in June with a $195,000 price. They don’t have a full site live yet, but I’m sure it’s coming soon.

Congrats to Valley Solutions, and best of luck with the new acquisitions.

Nice find, will be interesting to see more lead gen companies get into the unfilled services spaces, lots of opportunities still for those with a plan.
